A Weekend in Northern California

We spent the weekend in Folsom with Jackson!  It was so nice to hang out with him for the weekend.  We went to DQ, his soccer game until it got thunder and lightening out, we went to the Normans for dinner and jacuzzi, apple valley to celebrate the beginning of fall and soccer pictures.

end of september

My aunt makes the best sour apple pie,
so I made it for the first time in a while.
spent some time with little finnsters with my sister Elise and mom that came up to LA to visit.  They helped me redecorate Jackson's room.  I'm not much of a shopper so they got me out to go to stores to put his room together.

Jackson came into town and he kept saying he just wants to cuddle and be home.  So I canceled our plans and we did just that.  Read books, watched movies, worked on homework and really caught up on life.

whenever its time to cut his hair, he has me take a picture of his rat tail to prove it

We went down to San Clemente to see his best friends and family.

We grabbed some pizza in San Clemente at pizza port and spent the night at my parents house.

Jackson and Brady played soccer again right before Jackson got picked up.  I was so bummed to say goodbye but know that's what has to happen.  I love this little boy, so so much.

September Happenings

My friend Megan and I ran some errands that day and
I just love little Row Row.  We are buddies.
I have been doing little crafts while Brady has been working and I have been working only part-time, so I get ancy with free time.

My sister makes wreaths out of burlap, so I was trying to think of other ideas for wreaths, so I started dipping coffee filters in chai tea and let them dry overnight, then came up with these wreaths.  A bunch of friends wanted some so I made a bunch after that.

Jackson Weekend

We picked up Jackson from Burbank for the weekend
and took him straight to this wannabe Chuck-E-Cheese Castle place.

He loved it.  We loved it.
Brady and I are obsessed with skee ball and Jackson is the best
at it with his lefty arm, so we played for hours.

We woke Jackers up with Fluffy Pants all dressed up

We played soccer at Garfield Park for hours and hours.

Made some s'mores.

I wish I could remember more about this weekend but I do know they are always jam-packed.
