Trip to Folsom

We had the post-spring-break-blues for sure.
It was like we were empty-nesters once he was gone, and the week after and every long hour that passed until he came back.

Brady and I try to go on at least one date a week, so this night we saw a movie and walked around the Glendale mall to eat at the Melt.  It was really good!

My friend Kristi who I grew up cheering with, having my first sleepovers with and many trips, is pregnant.  She's having a girl so we all came down for her amazing baby shower that was catered and gorgeous.  It was a fun reunion to see friends I grew up dancing with since we were five.

While in San Clemente, we celebrated with the family, Linds' birthday!  Asher is my little buddy.  I try to always give him lots of attention when we are together because he's the 3rd born.

My friends, Scott and McCall asked me to watch their baby Oliver while they went to Disneyland.  We had a fun time and it was a good reminder of what it's like to have a very active toddler over.

Some'more Facetiming with my babe

We missed Jackson so much that we came up to Folsom to meet him and watch him play baseball.
This time, we stayed at a fancy schmancy hotel in Sacramento for a change.  He didn't actually sleep on the window sill but he wanted to make it look like it.  Our hotel room was a suite so Jackson had his own bed in the other room but I slept next to him
most of the night because I felt like he was so far away.

We watched his game and he did really well with two
great hits and he was the catcher the whole game.

We went into Gold Country to mine some gold.
We payed for the little area kids could do it and Jackson was pretty stoked to get flakes of gold out of it.  We then went down to the river to get more.  Brady and Jackson both had a good amount of gold in their little bottles.

We were pretty tired after a long day in the sun, so we grabbed sushi and took a dip in the hotel's pool.  We watched a movie and fell asleep early.

We played at the park and then took some family pictures after lunch before dropping him off.  We just love time with Jackers!
