A few days before Christmas, my youngest sister Bree was going through the San Diego temple for the first time, so we all met her down there. It was a great day! After we all met up for lunch at some good Mexican food. San Diego always has the best Mexican food. The Mozo family came out to meet us as well.
For Christmas eve, Brady had to work so I took it easy until he got home, then we headed down to San Clemente. My mom had the flu so we ordered our favorite Italian place and had take out. Since so many people were sick, we all went to bed early. We slept in one of the guest rooms and woke up at eight! It was so nice to sleep in! We waited for all the siblings with their kids come over... Had breakfast and then opened up gifts. Christmas is always loads better with kids, and lots of them. Our nephew Finn was very eager to help us open gifts, passing them out and yelling, "ho ho ho merwy cistmas!" During the gifts opening, Brady's brother Colby called from his mission so we facetimed with family.
Later we drove down to San O so the guys could surf. All of us girls just hung out on the beach and watched. My grandma brought sandwiches and snacks for all of us.
After the beach we came back to my parents house, had a big Christmas dinner and then saw the movie Unbroken. It was a laid back, simple, yet good Christmas.
