Weekend with Jackers

During the week when Jackson wasn't here, I felt so motivated to grocery shop. I haven't shopped in so long, I have had so many friends helping me out in this department or Brady picking up groceries, so I had to document my progress - see all of those bags? I felt so productive.  Also see this picture of Elise, me and Mitchell?  I think we need to re-do this for Halloween one of these years.  We thought about it last year but Elise was pregnant and then thought about it this year but I'm pregnant, so maybe next time?

Jackson came back into town!  The weeks fly by when I'm not able to move much and always sick.  I took him to get hot chocolate only because it was cold and rainy for a change.  We went to Dicks Sporting goods to pick up soccer gear. We then grabbed Hook Burger before coming to go to his soccer game. I did snacks and thought of making watermelon on a stick instead of orange slices.  The kids loved it.

These kids are athletes.  Always aggressive with the ball and they won again!

After, Jackson still had so much energy so we took his new ball to the park to play some more with Brady.  These two could do this all day.

We came back to swim and clean the turtles case.

We then took Jackson and his friend Kelliah to the movies - Boxtrolls.  They loved it.  Kelliah was given $20 for the movies and always gets a treat so we let Jackson get some snacks too instead of getting dinner.

Sunday was its usual busy but then relaxing.  Jackson always has me sit in the back with him when we drive and most of the time I do.  This time he fell asleep on me on the 20 minute airport drive.  I just love his little boy moments that he holds on to as much as he grows in inches through these years, he still remembers what's important.  Sure love this boy.  We hated saying goodbye.

End of September

The rest of our weekend with Jackson was busy but so fun!  From waking up at 6am to go surfing with Jackson and Ryder and Brady that got them breakfast, set it out in the car for them.  The boys felt so special. Brady was a groomsman at his old roommates wedding and I was suppose to be at the temple but Jackson had his soccer pictures and a game, so I took him to those two things.  I had no idea I would be in the pictures being the team mom - I was feeling so sick and bloated that day.  Jackson's team won!  After the game we all went to Palos Verdes to watch the ring ceremony and the reception.  It was so fun watching Ky and Dave get married and see so many friends at the reception.  Everyone was congratulating us for having twins and excited for us.  Jackson was the proud older brother walking around telling everyone he gets two.  We came back to watch my friend kids who are both Jackson's friends Ryder and Lyla, so we put a movie on, played games and I fed them dinner.  I was so sick and so tired.  It was a fun day!

On Sunday we hung out and went to the park.

Announcing the Twins to Everyone

We wanted to announce to everyone we were pregnant with Twins the day Jackson was coming into town and we also had a friend's wedding so we didn't want Jackson to hear things from people asking me if I was pregnant before we told Jackson.

Here is the video:

We picked up Jackson from the airport, so excited to tell him.
We went straight to dinner at our favorite place, Tender Greens.
After we ate, Brady video-tapped him opening up his presents.  He wasn't sure why he had presents but was happy regardless.

The first present was a cell phone. We wanted him to be able to call us anytime. He was pretty excited about it.  The second gift he opened was a Twins shirt!  He didn't know why it was so special.  Then he opened the last gift, a frame of the twins and said, "Oh, is this me?"  We laughed and said, "Its your brothers or sisters or a brother and sister!"  His next reply was, "You're pregnant??? .... ahhhhh oh my gosh!" He was so happy.  He did a shaking head thing really fast.  It was so exciting!
