YW + Painted Cabinents

We had a New Beginnings night for the incoming Beehives with a theme of Tangled, but we didn't talk about Tangled, just related it back to Young Women so we let off gold balloons (instead of lanterns since their illegal) and had a really great night.

During that week my friend Stacey and I had some fun with hard wax and chop sticks. Let's just say it's kind of our favorite thing and cracks us up.

My cousin Chelsea was in town for her husband's doctors conference so we went to meet them for dinner in Anaheim.  We are only months apart so its been fun watching her family grow throughout the years, despite living so far away.
When it rains, we get free Pinkberry.
So we love it when it rains.
We went on a walk down our streets and wished we could live in this beautiful house.  We gets lots of ideas from our walks of our dream homes in the future.

I have wanted to change so many things in our really old and outdated apartment for a while, so I decided to just paint them white.  I mean, why not?  They were ugly brown.
So I did.
Here is the before....
Then, we had some youth coming over in the middle, so while the doors were drying, we still used our kitchen.  It was a longer project than I thought it would be.

This night was a fake mission for the Youth to go on, so we fed them brazilian food like Brady had on his mission.  It was very authentic and didn't look so good, but it was delicious.  Didn't realize how much meat and parts of meat were int he food which kind of made me not want to try it, but sucked it up.

The Youth loved it.
Brady was adorable with them, speaking Portuguese and explaining all the foods.

Here is the finished product...

There is just something great about turning an ugly and small spaces that makes renovation the best.  I wish I could change more, but I am happy happy now!  It even makes cooking more desirable.
